NARNIA DAY NURSERY ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Thank you for your enquiry regarding a place in our nursery for your child.

Please complete the booking form and return it to the nursery. We will then place your requested place(s) on our waiting list. If, or when, nursery places become available you will be contacted by a member of management to make an appointment to show you around the nursery. No child will be given a place without parent/parents having made a visit beforehand. If at this time you wish to reserve a place, you will receive a letter of confirmation and will be asked to return a deposit together with your letter of acceptance and a signed ‘Conditions of Acceptance’ form.

Your next point of contact will be about one month before your child is due to start nursery, when a start date will need to be agreed and ‘settling in’ visits will be arranged – according to our ‘Induction Policy’. This will provide ample opportunity for you to ask relevant questions and to discuss your child’s routine and requirements with relevant members of staff. You will be given a copy of the ‘parent handbook’, providing key policies and points about the nursery and asked to complete your child’s enrolment form with emergency details should the nursery require them. Once this has been completed and you have signed the Terms and Conditions, your child will be free to begin at Narnia on the agreed starting date.
